I’m a local artist and freelance photographer with a passion for capturing wildlife and scenic landscapes. I’ve been painting and taking photos since I was a kid, and I love sharing my work with others. My art is inspired by the nature and culture of the Chesapeake Bay, often reflecting the beauty of the region in both traditional and unexpected ways.​ Through my photography, I focus on the life and beauty that surrounds my home along the Bay. While most of my work is rooted in the local environment, I also enjoy traveling and documenting the diverse places and people I encounter around the world.​ 

 

After college, my first job was a first mate on a fishing charter boat. Growing up, I always dreamed of working on the Bay, and that job deepened my respect and connection to it. Today, I continue to support the Chesapeake both through my photography and in my role as a coastal resource scientist for a local nonprofit.
